Rice Cake Keys
Keys made from my own recordings, played on a little glazed instrument with puffed-rice keys and rice cake knobs. Add a fifth, a shimmering octave-up reverb, a worn cassette, and bend everything with the pitch pad.

Recordings of Rice Cake Keys, one for each sound.
Preset 1: a pure tone with a fifth above it, from my own recordings.
Preset 2: a moving, swirling tone.
Preset 3: wide and airy.
Preset 4: a slow swell, a long release and some Shimmer.
Plain with the Shimmer reverb turned up and the Lo-Fi tape switched on.
Plain, bent up and down with the pitch pad.
Three octaves of puffed-rice keys with toasted black keys. Play them with a MIDI keyboard, click them, or use the A–K row on your computer; Z and X move the octave. Notes your DAW plays light up the keys they land on.
Fifth adds the note a fifth up. Shimmer sends an octave up into a long, bright reverb, and the mod wheel turns it. Attack and Release shape each note, Warmth drives it from clean to saturated, and Volume sets the level. A glowing arc shows where each one is.
Touch the frosted pad and everything you play slides in pitch: down an octave at the left edge, up an octave at the right, glides back when you let go. Your DAW records every move as automation.
The Light knob fades the glaze from white to lavender, and the Bright / Dark switch turns it dark.
Plain, Swirl, Airy, Pad, Hang, Cloud, Dream and Pluck, from my own synth recordings, some of them layered.

An octave-up shimmer reverb and an added fifth, mixed in on their own knobs. The mod wheel moves Shimmer.
Flip the switch for a worn cassette: wow, flutter and a softer top, with no distortion.
−12 to +12 semitones under one finger, recorded by your DAW like any other control.
Sustain-pedal chords stay clear, with headroom and a gentle limiter built in.
$9, once, and $5 at the launch price until the end of 30 November. Taxes are worked out at checkout.

Yes. Offline activation moves a small file between that computer and one that is online. How it works
Yes: it loads as an instrument (VST3 and Audio Unit) on a MIDI track in Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, Logic Pro and others. It also runs as an app on its own.
No. Click the keys or play them from your computer keyboard. A MIDI keyboard works too, with the sustain pedal and the mod wheel.
It runs in Logic Pro as an Audio Unit. There is no AAX version, so not in Pro Tools.
